What's New?
We’ve made some changes this year to help strengthen our programs, make registration easier and give members better access to information and support.
**NEW** Fresh new look across SSNL

Big things are happening in JV! For the first time ever, Junior Varsity has a brand-new logo! We’re excited to introduce this new identity as the program continues to grow.

We’ve also added new secondary logos for Participation Nation and Varsity, giving both programs a little more flexibility when working in tighter spaces. Same identities, just new ways to show them off!
Keep an eye out for all three new logos across SSNL materials this year.
**NEW** Tournament Management
SSNL HUB
This year, we’re moving to the SSNL HUB for tournament registration and management.

The HUB will give schools a centralized place to manage tournament-related information and make the registration process more streamlined.

What does this mean for you? Less jumping between forms, emails and spreadsheets. More of your tournament information in one place.

**NEW** Website Assistant
Sideline Support

Need to know a rule? Looking for a policy? Can't remember where something lives on the SSNL website?

Sideline Support is our new website assistant, built to help you find answers using information from the SSNL website. Think of it as your digital sideline assistant—available whenever you need a quick answer.
A new school year can mean new information. Please ensure the following:

All of your school contact information is up to date
All necessary people are receiving SSNL communications
You're making the most of your SSNL Membership. Know your Membership level and what opportunities are available to your school
You're aware of all key deadlines and event dates relevant to your school
Make the most of your Membership
Your SSNL membership comes with access to programs, resources and opportunities designed to support sport and physical activity in your school.

Our Participation Nation programs focus on getting students in K-9 moving and involved. It’s built around physical literacy, fun, and inclusion — giving every student the chance to try different activities, build confidence, and develop fundamental movement skills through Core programs and Core Events, Development programs, and Adventure programs.

Junior Varsity is a regionalized competitive program designed for students in Grades 7-9. JV bridges the non-competitive, participation-based Core Events of the PN program with the Competitive high school sports of the Varsity program.

Our Varsity program provides structured, school-based competition at the senior high level. Students progress from Junior Varsity — a regional-based competitive program — into Varsity sport, where teams participate in Qualifier tournaments with a chance to advance to Provincial championships.

Equipment Loan Program
Need equipment for a new activity? Our Equipment Loan Program gives member schools access to equipment they may not otherwise have, helping bring more activities and opportunities to students—especially in schools with limited equipment budgets.
Grants & Funding Opportunities
Looking to introduce a new sport, bring back an activity, or create more opportunities for students to get active? Program Grants and PN Pursuits funding can help offset the cost of equipment, training and participation-based activities that get more students involved in physical activity—especially in non-traditional sports and for underrepresented groups.
