Pin Winners

The Pin Winners program is one of Participation Nation's Core programs. Designed for students in grades
4-6, Pin Winners is an extra-curricular, inclusive program that rewards participation. The program serves as a motivator for participants to lead active, healthy lives while building self-esteem through inclusion and encouragement.

Please note: There is no sign-up form for this program as it is available to all SSNL member schools. For more information on how to get started with this program in your school and to access a copy of the PN Core Program manual, email Natelle Tulk (ntulk@schoolsportsnl.ca).

Pin Winners
As a PN Core program, Pin Winners is delivered by either a physical education teacher or a classroom teacher in a gymnasium during the intramural time slot at lunch or after school. In addition to draw prizes, students receive collectable pins as sports & activities are completed. At the start of the program, each student receives an individual sport sac to display their pins and to store their indoor footwear.
Below is the Pin Winner Sport & Activity Poster displaying all of the pins students can receive. The sport sac is displayed as well as a sample draw prize.

[NEW] Ready to Play Resource
New this year, Participation Nation has put together an easy to use, ready to play handbook, that will enable classroom teachers with little knowledge on intramural programming to deliver a fun and exciting program to students. Find out more by checking out the '[NEW] Ready to Play' button in the Pin Winner Resources section above.
